Busy Week!

Its been a crazy and busy week. Peter has been working on the basement with his dad and uncle and making some progress. We are hoping that it is done sometime this fall. Noah finally has fully recovered from Roseola!! YAY! However, he is teething again. He now has 6 maybe 7 teeth. So he is a little crabby and clingy. Besides that, Noah is growing and developing so fast. He is now a cruiser. Walks around the furniture, scoots, crawls, and stands by himself without holding on. He is very cautious, however, and doesnt want mommy or daddy to be far. He is also into everything...every cupboard, box, bookshelf, curtains, door, door stops! Lots of fun.

This weekend we are headed up North with our friends/neighbors to Grand Marias. We are hoping to do some hiking, shopping and play cards when the kids go to bed. It will be a great weekend. I will post pics when we get back.

Have a great Labor Day!!!

Growing up to quick!

From a sleeping little one........... to an independent little man!!

When did my little baby turn into a big boy? I still cant believe that Noah is going to be 1 in a month. Where did the time go? It makes me sad to think how fast the time goes. I am trying to really focus on cherishing these moments and soaking it all in. All the loves he gives and kisses, cuddling and reading books together, when he lays his head on my shoulder.....I am going to absorb all I can now before he doesnt want to cuddle with his mommy anymore.

Bats!

Last night was a crazy experience with the bat in our house. Peter and I were setting up our new computer when we notice there is a bat sitting on our lamp shade. We both panic for a second and then I ran into the bathroom while Peter proceeded to get read of the bat. To make a long story short....the bat met his new friend, the tennis racket. Exciting night. I slept the remaining night completely under the covers, including my head.

This is our 3rd bat. The first 2 were before I moved in and I told Peter if we ever had a bat again, I would move out. So I guess I am packing my bags and moving back home with my parents.

Noah update: He is still sick with Roseola. This is his 4th day with a fever. It is slowly decreasing so hopefully by tomorrow the fever with be gone. And then, a full body rash will appear. What fun. Poor little peanut. I took him to the doctor on monday and he weighed a hefty 23lbs. So I guess he is not such a little peanut anymore.....maybe a walnut now.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Two years! Wow, how time flies by. Peter and I became man and wife on August 11, 2006 and since that day so much has happen. In our first year of marriage, I graduated from college, moved in with Peter for the first time, got my first job as a nutritionist, and then got pregnant. In our second year of marriage we had our beautiful son Noah, I quit my job as a nutritionist, and started my new career as a stay at home mother and wife. It makes me a bit nervous to think what our third year will bring. Hopefully more love and blessing from God.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter and Megan Horn

Our first Anniversary! I was a boat! We spent the morning in the hospital because I was on bedrest and Noah wanted to come out early. This year we spent yesterday in Stillwater enjoying the beautful day. And today, well, Peter is at work and Noah has come down with a fever. I guess thats life :)

The newly designed deck

Hi, here is just a picture of our deck Megan and I just finished staining and changing a few things yesterday...we're pretty excited about how it looks...at least compared to how the old one looked. I guess now I will have to get back to the basement and mudding.

More pics from the summer

Cabin and Camping

at the cabin

(Help...I am stuck in this cage....let me out!!)
So we just recenly got back from our trip to the cabin and our weekend camping. Noah had a blast at both. He loved the water and eating rocks and sand. He also enjoyed hiking in the backpack. The best part was having Peter around during the day. It was great to bond as a family and for Noah to have his daddy around all day long. We are now happy to be back home and settling down into our routine again.

oops!

Forgot to attach the pictures!!

Welcome!

So I have decided to start a family blog. Everyone is asking to see pics of Noah and its just easier to post them here for everyone to see anytime. It will be another way to let you know how we are doing and what we are up to. Hope you enjoy!
