Sorry but no new pics today :( The past few weeks have been crazy. Peter went back to work and I have been on my own. I think I am doing fine. I have become slightly more organized (my mom might disagree :) ) and I am learning quickly how to juggle two kids. We have been going on lots of walks and just hanging out with friends in the neighborhood. My neighbor, Nikki, has been a life saver. She has been very supportive and helped out with Noah so that I can nurse Emme. I feel truly blessed to have such great friends close by.

Pete is just finishing up a 10 day work stretch and I cant wait for him to be home this weekend. He has a 4 day weekend for the 4th of July. Its too soon to go out of town with the kids so we have some fun day trips planned. We are planning on going to a train store for Noah since he loves trains, take a trip to Stillwater for the day and hang out on the river, and also spend time with family for the 4th. I cant wait for the break.

Well, I was planning on writing more but Emme is up from nap and I don't want her to wake up her brother. Got to go!

New Pics for the Grandparents!

Here are a bunch of new pics from the week. Enjoy proud Grandparents :)

Noah loves to play with his little sister. He is such a good big brother.
Amazingly, Emme can hold her head up for a long time.

Happy Father's Day!

To Peter- Happy Father's Day! I am so blessed to have you in my life. You are a great husband and father. You are patient, loving, supportive, and much more. I dont know what I would do without your love and support. Thank you for these two beautiful children. I love you!

2 week update

It is coming to an end...Pete is heading back to work on Thursday. I am not looking forward to it at all. It has been so nice having him around and believe it or not, Pete has been very helpful. He has done dishes, laundry, naps, backrubs, and so on. I will definitely miss the help. However, I am looking forward to routine again and playdates. Noah has missed his friends despite all the fun he has had with Peter. As for my healing, I am doing pretty well. I am still a little sore at night, but that is to be expected.

As for Noah, he has adjusted extremely well to the new baby and he loves to help out. He loves to rock her and put blankets on her, and of course, he loves to put her nuk in. I am very proud of my little man. Emme is also adjusting to life outside the womb. She is starting to sleep a little better at night and she is becoming more alert during the day. I still think she has her nights and days messed up a bit.

It is weird to think we are a family of four now. Outings are a bit more challenging and getting ready in the morning takes twice as long. The days seem to fly by and the nights stretch on forever. I cant believe Emme is already 2 weeks old today. I know I am going to blink and my babies will be all grown up. I look at Noah and wonder where all that time went.

Well, Noah is sleeping and Emme is ready to eat yet again. That's all the time I have I guess :) .
