Hey Everyone!
I am sorry that I have not posted a lot lately. It feels like this winter is going on forever and I have nothing new to report. We have been doing the same thing day after day. Our usual weekday consist of laundry, trying new recipes for dinner, playdates, and naps....lots of naps (for both Noah and I). And then of course its been cold after cold for Noah. His poor little runny nose. We cant wait for the warm weather to get here and stay here!!!

Noah has been growing so fast and saying so many new words. His new favorite is "Elmo" which he calls "mumo." Very cute. He also said "Mike" and "Matt" this week. His two uncles are very proud :) We are still working on Grandma or Grammy and Uncle Denny, Abby and Sarah. He also loves looking at pictures and naming people in them especially mama and dada.

Our little girl is doing great. She is on schedule for growth and looks like it should be a healthy rest of my pregnancy. I see the doctor this week. Our c-section is scheduled for June 2nd. 11 more weeks to go!!!! The count down has begun. She is moving a lot more and sticking her feet in my ribs. She might be long like Noah was. We have also started to design and paint her bedroom a petal pink color. I always wanted a little pink girls room.

Well thats it for today. Noah needs his nose wiped :) Ohhh the joys of motherhood.

Noah had some fun today playing on the new couch in the basement. However, we had a little static problem :) He looks like he put his finger in the electrical outlet.

Flu....Flu...and more Flu

Well I think our week of having the flu is slowly coming to an end. Peter and I are feeling much better and today Noah made it through the day without throwing up. Hopefully he will not throw up tonight either. As you can imagine, its been a pretty awful week. It started last tuesday morning when Noah and I came down with the flu. I was in the hospital for the evening with dehydration and Noah was at home with my parents. Then late tuesday night Peter came down with the flu. Luckily he felt much better the following day. Noah and I remained sick throughout the week and into the weekend. Peter has done a great job as our nurse and "cleaning lady." I am very proud of him and how he handled the mess :). As Peter was at work, Noah and I spent the days watching Baby Einstein videos, reading books, napping, and laying around. I am hoping tomorrow we can get out for a bit or at least go for a walk.
