Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....Well it is definitely a white Christmas this year. We are knee high in snow so far and more to come. It is beautiful outside. The kids and I are cuddled up inside today while Peter braved the weather and headed off to work. We are hoping to make it to my grandparents this evening if we are not snowed in.
On Monday night we celebrated our family of four's Christmas and opened our gifts. Peter and I are never good at waiting. I made a nice warm dinner of seasoned pork chops, cheesy mashed potatoes and vegetables. We played Christmas music and enjoyed watching the kids open gifts. This year was Emme's first Christmas. She received a lullaby glow worm from santa and a new book. Noah was so excited to get a new tent, doctor kit, and the Elefun game (elephant that blows out little butterflies). Ellie got that game, too. So far she has just enjoyed climbing on the box, but it looks like a fun one! Merry Christmas!
